How do I prove that I'm eligible for SF Climate Equity Hub's free heat pump water heater?
Email proof of income OR participation in a public assistance program to climateequity@sfgov.org, or upload it to your Home Profile folder.

To qualify for SF Environment's free heat pump water heater program, your home's income must fall below this income line:

To prove your income, you can send in your last years' taxes, bank statements, or pay stubs.
Proof of participation in a public assistance program:
Send climateequity@sfgov.org a picture of your approval letter or membership card for Medi-Cal, CalWorks, SNAP, etc. This email address is secure, and only Benny and Elise from SF Environment have access to it. They then save your proof of eligibility to the SF Environment dropbox for safekeeping.
