Overview
The City of Piedmont offers a Heat Pump Water Heater Rebate for homeowners replacing existing fossil fuel water heaters with energy-efficient heat pump models. This rebate provides $800 to help offset installation costs. To qualify, the new heat pump water heater must be installed by a licensed contractor with an active City of Piedmont business license. Additionally, a building permit must be submitted on or after January 3, 2023. This rebate only applies to replacing existing fossil fuel appliances.
