The City of San Jose is offering a rebate for homeowners and building owners to upgrade to energy-efficient heat pumps. This rebate is currently operating on a waitlist system until more funds become available.
- Owners of buildings in the city of San Jose, CA are eligible to apply.
- Buildings must be in a Disadvantaged Community (as defined by CalEPA) or have occupants enrolled in a Qualifying Public Assistance Program.
- Either the building owner or a tenant must send proof of public assistance program enrollment to ElectricHomes@sanjoseca.gov to receive the Equity Community Incentives.
