The City of San Jose is offering rebates for mini-split heat pump installations. Homeowners in San Jose can apply for this rebate, but it's currently operating on a waitlist system until more funds become available.
- Owners of buildings in the city of San Jose, CA are eligible to apply.
- Buildings must be in a Disadvantaged Community (as defined by CalEPA) or the building's occupants (either tenants or owners) must be enrolled in a Qualifying Public Assistance Program.
- Proof of public assistance program enrollment must be sent to ElectricHomes@sanjoseca.gov.
- The Equity Community Incentives will be available for building units with occupants enrolled in public assistance programs.
