Save $3,500 on a new heat pump with the rebate from Sacramento Municipal Utility District (SMUD). SMUD is offering this rebate to help make your home more energy-efficient and safer.
The SMUD Heat Pump Rebate requires a variable-stage compressor and connected thermostat. Your new heat pump must also pass Title 24 requirements, which may include a HERS CF3R report. If you need new ductwork, it must be insulated to at least R8.
