Upgrade to an energy-efficient mini-split heat pump and save $3,500 with the SMUD rebate. Sacramento Municipal Utility District (SMUD) is offering this rebate to help make your home more comfortable and environmentally friendly.
To qualify, your new mini-split heat pump must have a variable-stage compressor and a connected thermostat. If you're installing new ductwork, it must be insulated to at least R8, and the system must pass Title 24 requirements with a HERS CF3R certificate.
