The TECH Clean California Heat Pump Water Heater Rebate provides a $3,100 discount to eligible homeowners who install a qualifying heat pump water heater. This rebate can significantly reduce the upfront cost of your upgrade, making it more affordable to improve your home's energy efficiency and safety.
- The water heater must be CEC JA-13 (thermostatic mixing valve) and CTA-2045 Compliant Communication Port, and at least Tier 3 on NEEA's most recent list.
- Customers must enroll in a demand response program within 30 days of installation.
- This rebate is not available for split-system water heaters.
