Save $500 on a new, energy-efficient heat pump water heater with the Modesto Irrigation District rebate.
Modesto Irrigation District is offering a $500 rebate for homeowners who install a heat pump water heater with a UEF (energy factor) of 2.2 or higher and a capacity of more than 40 gallons. The water heater must be installed outside the air-conditioned living space, such as in the attic, garage, crawlspace, or unheated/unfinished basement.
