SMUD is offering a $2,500 rebate to help homeowners cover the cost of electrical panel upgrades. This rebate is available for homes that are all-electric ready, with the upgraded panel and all eligible circuits installed.

  • The home must be all-electric ready with the upgraded panel plus all eligible circuits to qualify for the full $2,500 rebate.
